Our family spent 5days in this wonderful cottage. The cottage was impeccably clean and it had everything we could possibly need. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and eagerly answered all our questions. The swimming pool and sun loungers provided the perfect spot to relax after a long hot day of site seeing. Rustrel is a beautiful quiet village and we enjoyed our evening stroll, meandering through the older part of the village. The hosts provided many useful tips on things to do and see around Rustrel. We were lucky to be there during lavender season and the flowers around the village was incredible. This is the kind of holiday that dreams and long lasting memories are made of! Croissants from the local patisserie; road trips to near by villages; lazy afternoon naps by the pool with the scent of lavender and the sound of cicadas. We will definitely be back! Thank you to the wonderful hosts for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!

Our family, with two teenage children, spent a wonderful holiday week in Maison des Iris. We can highly recommend it for a relaxing, comfortable, rustic, and peaceful village stay in Provence. The location has many activities nearby - walks directly from the house through the forests around the Colorado; short trips to local villages, markets and sights; even a daytrip to the sea. It was great to come back after a day‘s outing and everyone jumped straight into the pool. The pool area, garden and wonderful spacious patio with barbeque area is perfect for spending a lot of outdoor time. The house itself has generous space for a family, comfortably furnished, smart modern bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen to prepare meals. The open plan living and dining area open onto the patio. There is great internet connectivity. If you’re an early riser like me, then I‘d recommend a cup of coffee on the patio as the sun rises over the mountain, listening to the remarkable morning bird song!

Unsere Familie, darunter drei Teenager, hat unseren Urlaub im Maison des Iris in Rustrel sehr genossen. Alles war unkompliziert und das Haus hat einen rustikalen und einfachen Charme, der perfekt für einen entspannten Urlaub ist. Das Gästehaus ist wie ein zweites Zuhause und die Teenager liebten die entspannte Atmosphäre und hatten genug Platz und WLAN, um richtig gut "Chillen" zu dürfen. Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht, und die Küche war gut ausgestattet, um die Mahlzeiten  zuzubereiten. Das Dorf Rustrel ist wunderschön und das tägliche frische Brot ist ein Katzensprung entfernt. Wir sind große Wanderer und fanden die Lage am Colorado perfekt. Die Umgebung bietet jede Menge Möglichkeiten.  Die typische Provence Landschaft, die verschiedene lokale Märkte, die Ausflüge zu den umliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten waren alle so toll. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt in diesem Gästehaus einfach super. Wir haben uns sehr entspannt und wir können es nur empfehlen.
